Highly recommend your embroidery course – it was exactly the motivation I needed! I love how the projects are everyday things, because I've never understood what I was going to do with a whole bunch of embroidery hoop art haha and also SEVERANCE! Love it.
Another easy and cozy project is hand sewing. I use cloth napkins for every day, and hand stitching a simple hem is so satisfying. I cut them all out, press down a double hem, then stitch them while watching a show.
Repairing clothes, either with embroidery or by other means is also a good craft to do on the couch. Bonus is that it is good for the planet (and maybe for your wallet as well if you don't overdo on your supplies for embroidery and such)
Saving this list as a reminder for myself of what I can get up to instead of getting stuck with my phone after dinner!
It reminds me of this article I read that mentioned that slow hobbies like knitting could provide that added benefit because of the bilateral eye movements!

Thank you so much Phoebe!!! I’m so so happy to hear that
I’ve gotten out of the habit of making things while on the couch. It’s time to get back at it.
I feel like that happens easily, it happens to me too but as soon as I get back into it I feel so much better!

Mary Corbett has a wonderful embroidery blog. She has a lot of good information and inexpensive kits.
I picked up embroidery during the pandemic and I still love it! It’s the most relaxing craft

Inspired. Especially as I reconnect with more analog living!
Love this idea! Looking forward to digging in
Did you have an old twin bell alarm clock ⏰? I would love to make some tiny rooms.
I adore your heart-works! 💖
Thats what I used to make it, I found it!
It’s so whimsical and lovely!
